During the week commencing 6th October, CDS Print Services proudly joined the global celebration of International Print Day 2025 — highlighting the enduring relevance of print in a digital-first world.
Throughout the week, we shared stories that reflect our core values: sustainability, wellbeing, and talent development. Here’s a spotlight of our International Print Day 2025 Highlights:
We kicked off the week by showcasing our commitment to sustainable print management. At CDS Print Services, we integrate carbon offsetting into our paper buying strategy — helping clients reduce their environmental impact without compromising on quality.
These initiatives ensure every sheet of paper we source carries a measurable climate benefit — supporting our clients’ sustainability goals and our own environmental responsibility.
Since our meeting we have held a collaborative working session with Two Sides and Carbon Balanced Paper to shape our 2026 sustainability messaging. We aligned on purpose-driven storytelling, spotlighted the LovePaper campaign’s powerful narrative around renewable and recyclable print, and laid the groundwork for impactful go-to-market strategies.
We also celebrated our Apprenticeship Scheme, which continues to help shape the future of the print industry. Highlights included:
“The thing I’ve enjoyed most is seeing a project go from start to finish — from an idea to the final printed product.” – Parker Churchill
We’re proud to support young talent with structured development, real-world experience, and long-term career pathways in print.
To close the week, CDS Print Services marked International Print Day and World Mental Health Day by spotlighting two initiatives that champion wellbeing and social value.
The first involves training Mental Health First Aiders across the Bailie Group, in partnership with St Johns Ambulance, to support colleagues with compassionate, non-judgemental care.
The second highlights a supply chain collaboration with Better Pathways, a Birmingham-based social enterprise that empowers adults with mental health challenges through meaningful work—most recently producing materials for Transport for London’s “Please Offer Me a Seat” scheme.
From internal initiatives to supplier engagement, we’re committed to creating a print environment where wellbeing is prioritised and stigma is challenged.
In a digital-first world, print continues to offer clarity, credibility, and connection. At CDS Print Services, we’re working hard to ensure print remains relevant, responsible, and resilient — through sustainability, people development, and purposeful communication.
